Feeling some nervous with the Japan Trip

Yes we're going to Japan, it's planned from 3 or 4 months ago, and I always wanted to visit this special Country, I hope to feel something different with they...

We'll be 20 days in total visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama, Hiroshima, etc... so I'll try to create a proper idea of Japan.

I love Cornwall

We went to Cornwall for 2 days and finally I'll never say that England hasn't awesome beaches.

Regarding Cornwall, we found The Minack Theater, some footpaths from the Minack Theater to the Land's End.

The Minack Theater is an old Roman Theater, as you know, Romans were specially clever, and this theater was built in a wonderful landscape, so Romans could see their exhibitions with a dramatic sea landscape on the background.

Walking to the Land's End, we breathed fresh air and enjoyed a sunbath while we're stepping on a green-full path with some small beaches in the middle of our way.

The next day we visited The Mount Saint Michael for some hours, just in the magic hour...

This lovely region in the sunset, with a narrow layer of water over the huge sands of his beach, the sun reflects magically over the earth, perfect to do some experiments with our camera.

Finally, we discovered the crossing walkside over the Low tide and the high tide. It was funny walking through the low tide over this "old stone" sidewalk to the Saint Michele Island, where stays a mystical Castle and his small harbour.

Bristol Balloon Fiesta

One of the most beautiful festivals of Bristol is the Balloon Fiesta in Ashton Court. We could enjoy gorgeous Balloon over green landscapes and lots at same time. Simply colorful and beautiful.

The festival was so crowd and full of fans, and to make it more awesome, when the dark falls over us, they manage a spectacular music choreography.

Bristol Docks and Harbour

Bristol Harbour is an old side water walk with different unexpected findings. In one hand you can find old buildings, construction working areas and some new uglies buildings.

In my opinion, the best part is the oldest, where you can see some evidence of the industrial harbour and the color fisherman houses.

These houses are painted in colours because, the fishermen who lived there, used the same painting buckets for their boats, curious!

Following the old part you can discover the Brunel's SS Great Britain Ship, this old ship stays in the Bristol's Harbor as a Touristic point. It was one of the ships with the longest trip around the world of his age. This iron-hulled, steam-powered ship navigated to trade people from UK to New York at the XIX century.

Stonehenge & Old Wardour Castle

Stonehenge:

We went to our first most touristic place, Stonehenge.

It's a wellknown place for much people and unknown for someones, but I think it's a lovely place where you can imagine mystical symbolism and histories related with these stones.

If you try to erase all the tourists visiting at same time with you, these special circle of stones offers you a magical landscape where thousands of years ago some men tried to practise cult to the strength and the weather seasons, because all the stones are settled respect the year's seasons and produces different lights and shadows in each season.

Old Wardour Castle:
Well, hehe, we went here, because it was close to the Stonehenge and our GPS recommend us to visit this Castle, so... ok let's go.

We found a wedding into the Castle, meanwhile some visitors could enter to the rest of the rooms and take some photos of this Romantic half destroyed Castle. Beautiful and a little kitch to find this wedding.

Supension Bridge and Ashton Court

Following the rare sunny days, some days ago, we toke advantage of it and we went to the Suspension Bridge of Clifton near Ashton Court in Bristol.

This bridge is well known for everybody because is the longest bridge in suspension of England, so the resulting landscape becomes awesome.

This bridge cross through the river Avon, at this moment some flooded in upper regions of his way, here the cliffs are enough tall to resist the extremely raining of these days.

Driving a 1 mile more to the West, we found the Ashton Court Park. Really green, fresh, big, and beauty.

In this park, some times People celebrate Music and Cultural Festivals, and the common days you can enjoy the park, the forests, the footpaths and some special for us, Golf.

Golf here seems more common and close to people, because we saw how lots of people pay the day-rate to play golf, and it's cheap! It's interesting how the rules changes in each country with his weather and nature.
Suspension Bridge and Ashton Court

Coming back to Barcelona for my Metal Lady

Hi guys, this is my Metal-Lady, Mrs Black Draggy.

Yamaha Dragstar 650 c.c. with 46CV.

She roars really happy with her Vans & Hines exhausts, shorts and dumpies.

I came back to Barcelona to meet with her and start my longest motor-cycle trip. Barcelona - Bristol.

I drove from Barcelona to Bilbao (North of Spain), and then I took a Ferry from Bilbao to Portsmouth.

In the Bilbao Harbour I met with lots of "Mortars", "Black angels" and people who drove custom-bikes like me. I was really wrapped by them, and we're talking about trips, routes and Motor-cycles!

When I arrived to Portsmouth, I drove with this dudes for some minutes as a motor-cycle team, it was exiting and noisy!! yeahhh!

After everything, I spent 3 days to arrive, 6 hours Bcn-Bilbao, around 18 hours ferry from Bilbao-Portsmouth and 3 hours from Portsmouth-Bristol.

It was some unlucky because we didn't know how was the correct way and we're lost for all the time, but, it was a joking time.

I tasted the muds and puddle's flavour in a slippery narrow path and .... mmmm taste good.

Both Sides NeighBours

The Neighbours in UK, or maybe in Bristol, are really kind, at least our beside houses.

In one side we're received the first night when we arrived to drink some Caipirinhas with them meanwhile some had dinner.

In the other side, I found a guy who offered me freelance work for BBC and he is a great professional in website projects, so is perfect for me to enter in the UK website professional community.

I guess it wouldn't be best, because, in one hand we have some new friends and in the other hand we have some interesting work.

Harry Potter Thematic Evening-Night

Lastnight we decided take advantage of Bristol and we did a Harry Potter Thematic time.

So we went to cinema to see last premium movie "Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix" and just after we went to the city center to stare at the midnight bookshops opening to present the last Book of J.K. Rowling's - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".

It's going to be the last book of Harry's Collection. I'm not a great book reader, but I'm impressed with all this passion and obsesive madness of the fans who make a long queue at midnight awaiting to Buy the lastest book and discover how it finishes...

It's incredible, the people, was walking out of Waterstone's Bookshop with the book opened and reading with much interest.

Really funny.

Albert Park Place, Montpelier - Bristol

This is our street, where we're living at the moment...

It's a peacefully region close to the Bristol center, at 10 mins. walking. The neighbourhood seems really quiet and full of small commerces. We've discovered lots of graffiti walls on the streets that produces a cool feeling meanwhile you take a walk.

The home street guest you enter with a "street radio-tuning camel".

The green nature is everywhere we're, you can feel the difference compared with the grey Barcelona without parks and green areas.

The surrounding streets are full of small commerces and lots of bakeries, newspaper shops, and curious gambling places to make your bets, (really different than Spanish laws, where the gambling is forbidden).

In our neighbourhood, all the people is a mix of cultures, we can find, African people, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Bulgarian, french... at least we are the only Spanish and I prefer this. We want to learn English!!!

23th of June 2007, Ruchy steps on UK - Bristol

Yes, it is... Ruchy (Roger) me, and my partner Sara.

Concretely we arrived by Car from Barcelona in the Montpelier Neighbourhood of Bristol and started our England experience sharing a beautiful house with Jan and Ben, our housemates.

We had to arrange lots of things, like take care of our stuff and clean our new room.

The first conversations were fine, the Jan's English was comprehensive and Ben is a short-sentence boy... he he, but you can understand him.
